" CHANGING PERCEPTION'S ONE PAW STEP AT A TIME "
Mid Florida APBTA 's "Pit Bulls Pounding the Pavement Division" holds dog walking events for its members to promote responsible ownership . The walks are held throughout Tampa Bay and through out the State of Florida. 
PBPP's Mission is to be community oriented and to help raise funds for needy causes while educating the public about our misunderstood breed . 100% of any profits made during these events will be donated to the chosen organization in need.
It is a great chance for well behaved Pit Bulls to show the public that they deserve just as much love and respect as any other breed, while spending some bonding time with thier owners and getting a little exercise. It also gives the public a chance to see the breed and their owners in a positive activity which helps in dispelling some of the media driven myths and fears.
OUR WALKS ARE ABOUT HAVING FUN WITH OUR DOGS WHILE RAISING FUNDS FOR NEEDY ORGANIZATIONS. IT IS ABOUT SPENDING TIME WITH YOUR DOG UMOUNGST FRIENDS AND PEOPLE WHO TRUELY KNOW, ACCEPT AND LOVE THIS BREED AS THEY REALLY ARE ...
