WHAT IS CONFORMATION?
Conformation is the physical appearance of an animal due to the arrangement of muscle, bone and other body tissue. It is the sum of these body parts and how they blend together which determines the acceptability or unacceptability of the breed's conformation. Good conformation is the overall blending of body parts to form a beautiful athlete.
NO breed is conformed perfectly
Balance - Is the dog well-proportioned? Does the frame suit its muscle?
Bone - Does it appear to be substantial - not too light or too heavy?
Intelligence - Does the dog seem in control, aware of its surroundings, alert?
Athleticism - Does the dog look physically fit and capable?

- does not recognize the APBT but the American Staffordshire Terrier
Please note that "pit bull" that tauts its size of being 80lbs or more or is low and wide in stature is NOT a True APBT . It has had some other breed bred into them such as American Bull Dog, English Bull dog, mastiff, ect. While we appreciate thier beauty for what they are it is still a misrepresentation of the TRUE APBT and the public is being misled to believe that they are something they are not
